We are currently welcoming New Graduate RN Residents to join J61, a highly specialized 24-bed cardiovascular telemetry unit. Alongside our sister unit, J63, J61 provides expert care for post-open heart, surgical, and ventricular assist device (VAD) patients. These fast-paced units offer exceptional opportunities for professional growth, clinical advancement, and hands-on experience with innovative cardiovascular procedures. Nurses care for a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery, valve repair and replacement, VAD implantation, aneurysm repair, and other complex cardiac interventions, as well as patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, angina, and pacemaker or defibrillator procedures. As a Registered Nurse Resident on J61, you will work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care for individuals with complex cardiovascular needs. Nurses play a vital role in patient education, discharge planning, and recovery while developing advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills that support optimal patient outcomes.
