About The Position

Lerner Tower 3 is a 30 bed, adult, cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit with full telemetry capabilities. The diagnoses seen here include postop cardiac surgery, CABG and valve surgeries, and heart and lung transplants. This position offers a Nurse Residency Program to assist in Transition to Practice, free parking for full-time caregivers, competitive wages, and additional hourly rates for Cleveland Medical Center up to $5.25 per hour.

Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
