New Consult Coordinator
About The Position
Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY (HOACNY) is hiring a full-time New Consult Coordinator for its East Syracuse location. HOACNY provides cancer care services at locations in East Syracuse, Camillus, and Auburn. The New Consult Coordinator accepts incoming referrals and works with referring offices and physicians to ensure new patients are scheduled within an appropriate timeframe for their diagnosis. The position is part of a team responsible for registering new patients and retrieving documents needed to provide a complete record for the clinical team. The team currently has five professionals, and this is an additional position. Requirements
- Highly professional and motivated.
- Some knowledge of medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Accept incoming referrals.
- Work with referring offices and physicians to ensure new patients are scheduled within an appropriate timeframe for their diagnosis.

- Retrieve necessary documents to provide a complete record for the clinical team.
