About The Position

The DH Pace Company is seeking a New Construction Sales Representative in Denver, Colorado, to manage sales for the commercial construction sector, specializing in commercial sectional & rolling doors, loading dock equipment, and high-speed doors. This role involves introducing commercial customers to DH Pace's products and services in Denver and surrounding areas, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with general contractors, and engineering door solutions for customer facilities. The representative will develop scopes of work, manage proposals from initial contact to closing, and achieve sales objectives. Proficiency with Windows-based programs and sales tools is expected, with a preference for experience with blueprints/plans. The position requires tracking sales leads, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining the CRM system daily.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong aptitude for technical applications and/or mechanical systems
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, coupled with prior Estimating experience generating proposals and submittals is a plus; however, not required if capable of learning the process of working with technical applications

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a minimum of three (2) years outside sales experience calling on general contractors, distribution and industrial markets
  • Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish and foster long-term relationships with general contractors in Denver and the surrounding areas.
  • Meeting with decision makers to engineer a door solution for customers’ facilities
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and personally handle every detail from initial call to closing the sale
  • Achieve sales objectives set forth by management, track and record sales leads and activities and actively participate in sales meetings
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals
  • Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily
  • Other duties as assigned
