About The Position

The New Car Lot Porter maintains the dealership’s appearance, assists with moving vehicles, and provides customer service. The role supports the sales department and helps ensure the new-car inventory and customer-facing areas are organized and ready for customers.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to drive and move vehicles.
Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing, a background check, and an MVR check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role or in the automotive industry is preferred.
Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Move, stage, and park new vehicles on the dealership lot to maintain an organized, customer-ready inventory display.
Assist with vehicle deliveries, including final preparation and staging for presentation.
Transport new vehicles between dealership locations or to offsite storage as needed.
Keep the new-car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Provide friendly, professional customer service on the lot and direct customers to sales staff as needed.
Support the sales department with tasks such as installing dealer tags, checking fuel levels, and performing light detailing touch-ups.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report incidents to a manager or supervisor.
