About The Position

Rapid Medical is a commercial-stage neurovascular medical device company. Our technology is used in stroke and aneurysm procedures, and our clinical team works alongside interventional physicians in the procedure room. As a Clinical Specialist, you support territory strategy and tactics alongside your aligned Territory Manager and Regional Manager. Your work grows market share and builds long-term relationships through case coverage and clinical education. This role is a strong fit for radiologic technologists, cath lab and neuro IR staff, and clinical professionals looking to bring their procedural expertise into a commercial environment.

Requirements

• Vascular experience and interventional radiology knowledge
• Associate degree in a related field OR relevant work experience
• Ability to position products against competitors
• Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent listening and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid US driver's license and active auto liability insurance
• Ability to maintain vendor credentialing standards consistent with hospital account requirements

Responsibilities

• Establish a daily cadence of presence in customer accounts through lab visits, case coverage, stroke call, and training and education
• Provide in-servicing and clinical information to end users in and around procedure rooms and surgical suites
• Communicate with customers to understand account needs and patient populations, and identify opportunities to introduce Rapid Medical technology
• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, and resolve issues that arise post-sale
• Resolve customer questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
• Introduce customers to new products, services, and enhancements
• Support market development efforts that increase the number of patients able to receive our treatment
• Monitor competitive activity within the assigned territory
• Maintain and grow professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications, and professional societies
