About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neuroradiologist to join their group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology
  • Completion of a Neuroradiology fellowship
  • Active New York medical license

Responsibilities

  • Interpret neuroradiology imaging (CT, MRI, and related modalities), delivering accurate, timely reports that guide patient care.
  • Assess clinical indications, protocol imaging studies as needed, and provide patient care within the scope of service, including managing acute and chronic conditions and all patient interactions.
  • Manage contrast reactions and initiate emergency protocols as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Supervise and work closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Manage daily workflow and assignments to ensure timely completion of studies without deferring work to overnight coverage.
  • Maintain a schedule that may include evenings and weekends to support continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Supervise and train residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $468,750 (board eligible); $520,250 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
