About The Position

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is a leader in providing mission-critical semiconductor services. As a Coating Operator, you will work to resurface and texturize customer supplied parts using a spray nozzle as specified by work order instructions. We have openings on our Day shift (6am-2:30pm) and Swing shift (2pm-10:30pm).

Requirements

Must be proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.
Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).
Ability to be able to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.
Knowledge of how to read and understand prints.
Has basic math and measurement skills
Understands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.
Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality
Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas
Must pass Company required screening tests.
The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage.
Should be able to pick-up 40 lbs on occasional or regular basis.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by selecting appropriate media and settings based on material type and desired finish.
Blast parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to specific specifications.
Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within this team.
Work closely with the other departments regarding reworking and communication for incoming/outgoing parts.
Interact with other blasters regarding jobs that require more than one person to complete.
Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.
