About The Position

This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive neuroradiology services within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children’s hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center at a public university in Florida. This role provides an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered radiology in a collaborative academic setting, with flexible scheduling and strong institutional support for teaching, research, and professional development. Requirements

  • Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
  • Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida prior to employment

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a Neuroradiology fellowship is preferred but not required
  • CAQ in Neuroradiology is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Interpret a broad spectrum of neuroradiology studies, including CT and MRI of the brain, spine, and head and neck, across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
  • Provide subspecialty consultation to neurology, neurosurgery, stroke, and oncology services within multidisciplinary care teams
  • Teach and mentor radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities
  • Participate in weekend and holiday neuroradiology coverage, supporting timely interpretation of emergency neuroimaging studies
  • Engage in scholarly activity, including research and academic contributions
