About The Position

The Neurology District Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of specialty sales representatives in the Mid-Atlantic District. This role requires a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales management, with a focus on recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing teams. The position demands excellent interpersonal, analytical, and business acumen, along with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be goal-driven, possess outstanding work ethic, and demonstrate technical aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Must reside near major airport within the district.
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Experience in small company and start-up work environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree.
  • 4 years of Sales Management experience.
  • Specialty experience in CNS, neurology, or pain management.
  • Experience selling in the MS market.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
  • Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Travel up to 75% for local, regional, and occasional overnight travel.
  • Operate a motor vehicle as required.
  • Secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements.
  • Maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment.
  • Make sound decisions and work independently.
  • Adapt to changing situations and overcome roadblocks.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
