About The Position

The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville seeks full-time, non-tenure-accruing faculty members at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Candidates will be adult neurologists who are board eligible or board certified, with or without specialty training in areas such as stroke, dementia, neurotrauma, neurohospitalist care, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, or neurocritical care. Positions are based at the Jacksonville campus, and patient mix may be modified to align with subspecialty interests. The successful candidate will participate in shared departmental clinical and teaching responsibilities. Opportunities are available to participate in leadership roles and advance in academic rank. The position reports to the Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. Salary and academic appointment are negotiable, and benefits are described as excellent. Applicants should submit a letter of intent and curriculum vitae. Requirements

MD or DO in Adult Neurology.
Adult neurologist; subspecialty training is not required.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Provide an official transcript upon hire; foreign degrees must be evaluated by a NACES-approved credentialing service provider.
