Auburn University at Montgomery’s School of Nursing is hiring a full-time, 12-month faculty member to serve in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Track and teach in the Graduate Nursing Program. Teaching may be face-to-face or online, depending on course requirements, and may also include the Undergraduate Program as needed. This is not a remote position. Faculty responsibilities include teaching, research, and service according to rank. The successful candidate will provide instruction, academic support, site visits, and guidance to FNP-track students, engage in scholarship and research, and demonstrate academic growth. Candidates with expertise as a Family Nurse Practitioner are invited to apply. Applicants should submit a letter of interest/intent, curriculum vitae, professional reference sheet, and transcripts. The position is open until filled; AUM reserves the right to stop accepting applications once interviewing begins. The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate, master’s, DNP, and post-graduate APRN certificate programs accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Auburn University at Montgomery is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and states that it provides equal employment and education opportunities without regard to legally protected characteristics.
