About The Position
Seeking a Neurohospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Spokane, WA. This inpatient role involves providing clinical coverage for supplemental needs. The position requires a physician to manage a patient volume of 12-15 adults, including performing brain death exams. The hospital is stroke-certified and has a Trauma Level II designation. The role involves rounding and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Coverage is needed for specific periods between September and December, with both day (6a-6p) and night (6p-6a) 12-hour shifts available. The locum's preference for days or nights will determine the scheduled coverage. There are two facilities, one for day shifts and one for night shifts. Lab and X-ray are available onsite.
Requirements
- Active WA License or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- DEA required
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical coverage as a Neurohospitalist.
- Manage a patient volume of 12-15 adults.
- Perform brain death exams.
- Participate in rounding.
- Work 12-hour shifts (6a-6p or 6p-6a).
