About The Position

Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Neurohospitalist to join our growing Medical Specialties Service Line. The Neurohospitalist is a board certified/board eligible neurologist specializing in the inpatient management of patients with acute and complex neurologic conditions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence based care in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams. The Neurohospitalist plays a critical role in optimizing patient outcomes, throughput, and care transitions across the continuum.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board eligible or certification in Neurology
• Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient management of patients with acute and complex neurologic conditions.
• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Optimizing patient outcomes, throughput, and care transitions across the continuum.
