About The Position

Under general supervision, this position supports the organization's technical operations, including desktop hardware/software, server and network infrastructure, VoIP telecommunications, database, and web applications. The role will be filled based on the candidate's qualifications, either as a Network Systems Technician or Help Desk Technician. Candidates with only Help Desk support experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • College degree in Computer Science or related field highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years of Help Desk experience and 1 year of experience with network systems.
  • Experience with database and web development, maintenance, and delivery.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of Help Desk experience.
  • Ability to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL) and reliable, insured transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support all server, network, and desktop hardware and software.
  • Perform tasks to ensure functionality of VoIP telecommunication systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot database and web applications.
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot system and user accounts.
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and user accounts via phone or email.
  • Set up and maintain desktop/laptop hardware and software.
  • Manage and troubleshoot VoIP telecommunication systems.
  • Maintain inventory of Information Systems hardware and software.
  • Support the Door Card System.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse staff and demonstrate cultural awareness.
