A well-designed network is critical to moving data and enabling stakeholders to achieve their missions. Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. This role involves developing and upgrading network infrastructure, reviewing network designs, researching and recommending new technologies and services, resolving complex network issues, and increasing security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. The position supports the nation's defense and responds to evolving adversaries by applying expertise in DoD IT to help build the systems and infrastructure the DoD needs to program, test, and field the Mission Data Files. The role optimizes client operations and modernization using knowledge of network protocols, equipment, and configurations, and serves as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects using experience in secure and cross-domain solutions. The work contributes to developing and sustaining Reprogramming Enterprise labs and infrastructure that produce mission data to enable Joint air dominance for the U.S.
