About The Position
Image Tech is hiring an experienced Level 2 Network Support Technician in Wixom, Michigan, for a full-time role with flexible work-from-home options. The technician handles escalated desktop and end-user support and manages network environments with equipment from multiple vendors. The role involves resolving complex network issues, managing tickets and projects through completion, and applying security best practices to protect users and systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT support experience, including Level 2 or Level 3 work.
- Advanced networking skills across multiple hardware vendors.
- Strong experience with Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Kaseya VSA or N-able N-Central.
- Cybersecurity knowledge.
- Network+, Security+, CCNA, or similar certifications.
- Managed service provider (MSP) experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the top escalation point for desktop and end-user support.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls from multiple vendors, including Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and SonicWall.
- Resolve complex network issues involving VLANs, VPNs, routing, DNS, and DHCP.
- Manage ticket queues and projects to completion on time.
- Apply security best practices to help protect users and systems.
