The Network Planning Manager (NPM) supports the Kingsford Business Unit by leading mid- and long-term supply planning activities across a complex, highly seasonal supply network. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a 3-24 month supply plan that balances customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory strategy, service levels, and financial objectives. The NPM serves as a key business partner within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, driving supply sufficiency, identifying strategic tradeoffs, and recommending solutions that support growth, customer service, and working capital objectives. The role requires close collaboration across Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment between business plans and operational execution. In addition to network planning responsibilities, this role provides thought leadership for long-range supply strategies, capacity planning, inventory optimization, and innovation commercialization initiatives. The Network Planning Manager will influence critical business decisions by translating complex supply chain challenges into actionable strategies that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence. Kingsford's business success depends on balancing highly seasonal demand with complex manufacturing, sourcing, and inventory requirements. As the critical link between business strategy and supply chain execution, the Network Planning Manager ensures the network is positioned to meet customer demand, optimize working capital, and support profitable growth through effective capacity planning, inventory management, and cross-functional decision making.
