The Network Operations Engineer provides operational and implementation support for network, wireless, firewall, DNS, DHCP, LAN, incident, and change activities. The role monitors and troubleshoots network infrastructure, resolves user incidents during company business hours, performs network changes and implementations, and provides occasional off-shift support for major outages. The engineer works with Network Engineering, Network Security, and Administration on maintenance and process improvement, participates in network technology design and business project teams, and assesses the production impact of proposed hardware and software changes. The position also requires adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System and applicable domestic and global quality, security, privacy, and compliance requirements. The engineer helps ensure departmental adherence to these requirements and performs other work-related duties as assigned. The work is performed in a general office environment, with on-site work required and possible business travel of 0%–10%. The role includes rotating after-hours on-call duty and flexibility to switch weekend days off with weekdays to avoid disruption to 24/7 production environments. It may involve potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, and occasional equipment racking during site builds or expansions. Employees must be able to move between buildings and floors, remain stationary and use standard office equipment for extended periods, access office supplies, read and prepare written materials, and communicate with employees at all levels.
