About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Network Administrator to support a Hybrid Cloud environment at NSWC Dahlgren. This role involves assisting with infrastructure planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting within a fast-paced DoD Cloud environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience deploying various network configurations, devices, software and services that provide maximum and efficient performance local (LANs) and wide area network (WANs).
  • Three (3) years’ experience providing assurance to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of networks.
  • Three (3) years’ experience troubleshooting and supporting computer solutions, associated software and hardware, network, server, and PC, as relating to network infrastructure.
  • Three (3) years’ experience creating and maintaining documentation of the network.
  • Two (2) years’ experience performing hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals that are not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
  • Knowledge of multiple IT environments including server and cloud-based platforms.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of secure build techniques, tools and practices of DISA Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
  • Hold and keep current a DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification, such as SecurityX (CASP+), CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
  • An Interim DoD secret security clearance is required to start.
  • Applicant must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • The Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate certification is strongly preferred and must be earned and maintained within 90 days of starting employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with infrastructure planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting within a fast-paced DoD Cloud environment.
  • Deploy various network configurations, devices, software, and services to ensure maximum and efficient performance for local (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
  • Provide assurance to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of networks.
  • Troubleshoot and support computer solutions, associated software and hardware, networks, servers, and PCs as they relate to network infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain documentation of the network.
  • Perform hardware repairs for equipment and peripherals not covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
