NetSuite Implementation Lead
About The Position
Robbins Recruiting Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization in the fire and life safety services industry to identify an ERP Implementation Lead. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for leading the deployment and adoption of NetSuite across a growing network of operating companies. This individual will serve as the internal functional NetSuite expert and implementation leader, partnering closely with finance, accounting, operations, branch leadership, and an external implementation partner. The role will own deployments from initial discovery through go-live and stabilization, helping standardize processes while ensuring solutions work effectively within entrepreneurial, field-based businesses.
Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting ERP implementations, enterprise system deployments, or finance-process transformation initiatives.
- Meaningful hands-on NetSuite experience.
- Experience across multiple stages of the ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and post-launch support.
- Strong knowledge of core financial and operational processes—including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, general ledger, AP/AR, approval workflows, and financial reporting.

- Experience within a private equity-backed, acquisition-driven, multi-location, or field-services organization is strongly preferred.

- Equally comfortable working with executives, accounting teams, implementation partners, and field-based employees—and able to translate complex system concepts into practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementations across multiple operating companies, from requirements gathering through go-live and post-launch support.
- Develop implementation plans, timelines, milestones, readiness criteria, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and branch leadership to understand current processes and design practical future-state workflows.
- Serve as the primary functional liaison with the external NetSuite implementation partner.
- Provide functional guidance around workflows, approval hierarchies, user roles, dashboards, reporting, and core transaction processes.
- Coordinate data mapping, cleansing, migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Lead user acceptance testing and ensure system configuration, integrations, permissions, and reporting meet business requirements.
- Develop cutover and go-live plans that minimize disruption to the business.
- Create training materials and provide hands-on training for accounting, administrative, operational, and field-based users.
- Provide on-site support during go-live and stabilization, helping troubleshoot issues and drive user adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, workflow efficiency, scalability, and the overall user experience.
