Dulcedo ManagementMontreal, QC
Hybrid

About The Position

Dulcedo is seeking a NetSuite Architect, Financial Systems, who will be responsible for strengthening and evolving the company's NetSuite environment. This hybrid role requires an individual who can both design the system architecture and execute the necessary work. The position reports to the CEO and involves assessing the current NetSuite environment, identifying risks and opportunities, partnering with the Finance department, and creating a cleaner, more reliable financial operating system. The role encompasses acting as an architect to define structure, priorities, and long-term systems direction, as well as a builder to directly execute improvements across workflows, scripts, reporting, and automations. This is an opportunity to combine technical depth with business influence in a growing company.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in NetSuite and/or ERP systems, with strong exposure to both technical execution and solution / architecture ownership.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, reporting, dashboards, roles/permissions, and NetSuite customization.
  • Ability to step into an existing environment, assess what is fragile or inefficient, and define a smarter path forward.
  • Comfortable building directly, while also thinking in terms of systems, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Experience supporting Finance / Accounting workflows and ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Strong judgment around prioritization, governance, UAT, documentation, and release discipline.
  • Ability to operate well independently, bring clarity to ambiguity, and work in an evolving business.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Desire to own meaningful infrastructure, not just execute tickets.

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite certifications
  • Integration architecture experience
  • Consulting or NetSuite partner experience
  • Broader finance systems transformation exposure

Responsibilities

  • Assess Dulcedo’s current NetSuite environment, including scripts, workflows, permissions, reporting, integrations, and customizations, to identify risks, inefficiencies, and technical debt.
  • Define a clearer target-state architecture for our finance systems, aligned with reporting needs, business processes, controls, and future scale.
  • Partner closely with Accounting and internal stakeholders to map current-state and future-state workflows, ownership, approvals, and dependencies across key financial processes.
  • Build and maintain high-impact NetSuite solutions directly, including SuiteScript customizations, SuiteFlow workflows, dashboards, automations, and reporting tools.
  • Lead architectural decisions around how the platform should evolve, while remaining hands-on in execution where needed.
  • Prioritize and manage the NetSuite backlog in a way that balances immediate business needs with long-term system health and scalability.
  • Improve the internal structure of delivery by reinforcing better standards around intake, UAT, release readiness, documentation, and post-launch maintenance.
  • Design and implement workflows that reduce manual work, improve financial visibility, and increase operational reliability.
  • Reduce reliance on external consultants by bringing more of the architecture and build capability in-house.
  • Bring a strong systems mindset to broader finance tooling and integration conversations as the business continues to scale.
