Nephrologist - Los Angeles
About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group is hiring a Nephrologist for the Los Angeles Medical Center. This is a purely clinical, non-administrative general nephrology position involving outpatient general nephrology, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care at the medical center’s unit, and inpatient general nephrology care. The successful candidate will also participate in general nephrology and tertiary care clinics, including the renal stone clinic, glomerulonephritis (GN) clinic, and Renal Genetics Clinic. The anticipated start date is ASAP. The Los Angeles Medical Center is the region’s largest facility and SCPMG’s largest teaching facility, with primary, specialty, tertiary, and quaternary care programs serving a diverse patient population. The center emphasizes collaboration, accountability, transparency, physician well-being, and opportunities for physicians to contribute and grow.

- Board certified or board eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient general nephrology care.
- Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care at the Los Angeles Medical Center unit.
- Provide inpatient general nephrology care at the Los Angeles Medical Center.
- Participate in general nephrology and tertiary care clinics, including the renal stone clinic, GN clinic, and Renal Genetics Clinic.
