About The Position

We are seeking a Neonatology Physician to join one of our Level IV NICU team on a full-time basis in New Brunswick, NJ. This role involves providing patient management in the NICU, attending deliveries, providing consults in the Pediatric ER, and offering antenatal consults. The position offers a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment within a busy, high-acuity Level IV NICU. Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital with a state-designated acute care children's hospital, renowned for its high-risk maternity and neonatal care.

Requirements

Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA Residency and Fellowship
Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
CDS and DEA license required

Responsibilities

Delivery Room coverage attending vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Primary patient management in the NICU
Rounding with residents, fellows, NNPs, and PAs
Providing consults in the Pediatric ER
Antenatal consults
Follow-up clinic coverage
On-call duties including Delivery Room coverage, antenatal consults, Pediatric ER consults, and supervision of NP/PA or fellow managing NICU patients.
