About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center with Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties. The hospital has a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University. The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to provide comprehensive health services of the highest quality to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. This role involves providing patient care in a Level III NICU, caring for newborn infants until they are ready to go home, providing prenatal care for high-risk infants, managing infants' nutrition for optimal growth and development, and teaching/supervising medical students and residents.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatrics Required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Required.
• Active New York State Medical License.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Level III NICU.
• Care for newborn infants until they are ready to go home.
• Provide prenatal care for high-risk infants.
• Care for infants' nutrition to ensure optimal growth and development and find alternative ways to feed infants who struggle to suckle.
• Teach and supervise medical students and residents.
