About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital is a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center serving a large population and maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. This role involves supervising and teaching students, residents, and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Delivery Room, participating in inpatient neonatal consults, and supervising all patient care activities in the NICU and for sick newborns in labor and delivery.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
• Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
• Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
• Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.
