About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, serving 2.6 million residents. Requirements

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
  • Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
  • Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
  • Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $250,000 (board eligible); $260,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings; after one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings). No employee match is required.
