About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neonatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, serving 2.6 million residents. Requirements

Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $250,000 (board eligible); $260,000 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
401(k) Company Contribution (employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings; after one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings). No employee match is required.
