About The Position

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for performing cleaning and supporting NDT inspection and testing methodologies for TURBOCAM manufactured products. NDT Technician will also participate in assigned training and complete applicable qualification requirements to be certified as a TURBOCAM NDT Inspector Level 1.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must maintain adequate corrected near vision 20/25 or better and the ability to distinguish colors by means of a vision screening test.
  • Requires lifting, carrying and safely manipulating parts with complex geometries, delicate features and sharp edges of 50-lbs or more using approved lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Requires occasional sitting, stooping, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning of TURBOCAM products in accordance with established processes.
  • Perform proper handling and movement of high value parts with complex geometries in support of cleaning, testing and inspection.
  • Perform and assist NDT inspectors in conducting daily PT, cleaning system and equipment checks.
  • Assist as needed in maintaining PT materials, equipment and processes.
  • Assist NDT inspectors with inspections as directed.
  • Assist with identification, tagging and segregation of non-conforming product.
  • Assist in NDT system internal auditing as needed.
  • Complete NDT Inspector Level 1 training and qualifications as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
