Overview Lead sales growth and develop TRUMPF’s Power Tools sales partner network in North America. Own field sales, partner relationships, technical product support, and go‑to‑market activities to meet revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ field‑based technical sales experience (mechanical/industrial products preferred).
  • Associate degree (AS) in Mechanical Engineering required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong account development and customer service skills.
  • Good technical understanding of engineering or sheet‑metal/industrial tooling.
  • Excellent organization, time management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office; SAP and social‑media skills desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the Sales Partner network (USA first; later Canada & Mexico): onboard partners, set sales targets, and manage contracts.
  • Maintain and expand customer accounts (direct and indirect) through regular field visits and technical demos (at customer sites, trade shows, etc.).
  • Identify, qualify and close new business and market segments for Power Tools.
  • Present product solutions, explain technical and commercial benefits, and support pricing decisions.
  • Provide technical sales consultancy and after‑sales support to customers and partners.
  • Define, implement and track sales approaches and annual strategic plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Coordinate targeted marketing activities with headquarters and local teams; promote campaigns and follow up results.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends; deliver regular market reports and maintain customer/industry databases.
  • Lead and develop the local Power Tools team.
  • Travel nationally and internationally (up to 30%).
