About The Position

The National Sales Manager is responsible for generating group and leisure business opportunities that drive revenue growth for Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort. This individual will develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, meeting planners, travel professionals, and corporate partners while representing the resort in alignment with Omni Hotels & Resorts’ luxury service standards. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales professional with strong prospecting skills, market knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably within luxury or resort hospitality.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented professional.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Delphi, CI/TY, or similar hotel sales systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hilton Head Island, Southeast resort destinations, or national group market segments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, negotiate, and close group and leisure business opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of national accounts, meeting planners, travel advisors, and corporate clients.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and trade show participation.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and resort leadership to maximize occupancy and profitability.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and sales presentations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate account activity, forecasting, and pipeline management within the CRM system.
  • Build long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and follow-up.
  • Represent the resort and brand at industry events and networking functions.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure successful execution of client programs and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive set activity, and emerging sales opportunities.
