About The Position

Allied Universal Technology Services is hiring a National Project Manager. The Project Manager will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge electronic security solutions. In this position, you’ll provide project-delivery leadership across a portfolio of geographically dispersed projects and complex electronic security and related construction programs, driving initiatives from start to finish. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management, engineering, construction, electronic security or field service experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing project financials, to include budgets, P&L, labor and material costs, margin, billing, change orders and collections
  • Experience managing multiple projects (portfolio) of at least $1M, while working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Working knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV/electronic surveillance, intrusion detection, system integration, testing, and installation quality requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of project planning and scheduling, financial management, forecasting, change control, risk management, procurement, subcontractor management, quality management, commissioning, and project closeout
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, with potential to travel internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Business or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulations
  • Experience managing electronic-security projects within mission-critical, data-center, or similarly demanding construction environments
  • Knowledge of project management software (e.g., PM Workbench, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam) and ERP systems
  • PMP, CSPM, CAPM or equivalent project management certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and field leaders while reinforcing accountability, disciplined planning, reporting, escalation, quality, and financial performance
  • Oversee portfolio-level delivery across geographically dispersed electronic security and related construction projects
  • Monitor project health, site execution, client commitments, contractual requirements, and program objectives
  • Maintain schedule visibility, validate milestones and dependencies, and drive recovery plans for critical-path risks
  • Share fiscal responsibility for revenue, cost, margin, forecasts, billing, change orders, collections exposure, and financial risk
  • Identify cross-project trends, systemic risks, and distressed projects; assign owners, actions, due dates, and escalation paths
  • Track long-lead equipment, material constraints, procurement risks, substitutions, delivery issues, and subcontractor performance
  • Audit quality compliance, review recurring defects, verify corrective actions, and support critical commissioning and acceptance testing
  • Ensure client standards, specifications, bulletins, and technical direction are incorporated into project execution
  • Provide timely status visibility to program leadership, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams while serving as a senior escalation point
