About The Position

The National Sales Manager will manage and lead a domestic client program/department and is accountable for delivery, execution and the entire team; to include various levels of management, dedicated administrative support, and the field representatives. This position is also responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with the client and delivery departments, and to meet regularly with field management to train on leadership skills, training techniques, and assist with any field escalations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred
  • 5-8 years sales experience required
  • 3-5 years retail and sales management experience required
  • Extensive retail and/or direct sales management experience required
  • Exercise operational excellence and a high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve
  • Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
  • Must be able to travel 30% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct contact for the client and ensure program and client needs are being met
  • Coordinate activities of the field management to meet and/or exceed regions’ goals and objectives
  • Responsible for identifying and ensuring resources necessary to meet/exceed sales goals and objectives
  • Responsible for communicating and managing region-level T&E budget(s)
  • Motivate, direct and coordinate activities of the management to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients on national and region levels to align 2020 and client goals
  • Effectively coach/mentor team members and ensure proper training of management techniques, products, policies, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Administer and document all counseling and terminations accurately and in a timely manner, while following established procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
