About The Position

We are looking for a National Commercial Account Representative with experience in the effective management, reporting, and planning of inventory and vehicle sales through OPENLANE platforms. As part of a national team, you will support the administration of assigned accounts across Canada's 14 Vehicle Logistics Centers (VLCs). You will liaise with local VLC contacts to support the buy-back process for vehicles and personal property for repossessed units. Your Profile: Organized: You manage a variety of accounts while ensuring consistent adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and smooth communication. Collaborative: You work closely with other teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. Detail-oriented: You ensure that vehicles for sale meet account specifications. Customer-focused: You provide prompt and courteous service, and resolve customer issues professionally. Adaptable: You demonstrate flexibility in evolving work environments. Proactive: You identify areas of concern and seek management intervention as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant account coordination experience.
  • Technologically proficient, particularly with Google Suite.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while contributing to team results.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in commercial account management.
  • Experience in the automotive remarketing industry.
  • Experience with AMS, VTrace, or other OPENLANE systems.
  • Ability to identify value-added repairs and services.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of sales and inventory: Coordinate the sale of commercial vehicles by determining sales alignments, generating sales contracts, and negotiating pending offers.
  • Evaluate condition reports and obtain repair authorizations to ensure vehicle compliance.
  • Data and Systems Administration: Accurately enter and manage data in our systems (vehicle information, registrations, transport requests, and status updates via our portal).
  • Customer Support and Communication: Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating with clients, resolving issues promptly, and answering questions related to the repossession and buy-back process.
  • Financial Functions and Reporting: Produce inventory and sales reports. Process payments, file sales transactions, and submit sales reports along with Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs).
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Work with other commercial account representatives to provide coverage and support other administrative tasks as needed.
