About The Position

Encore is recruiting college graduates for its National College Leadership Program (NCLP), a five-month Manager in Training program that typically starts in July. The program prepares trainees for immediate placement in an operations, production, or sales management role within Encore’s network of venues. Candidates graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 are encouraged to apply. Trainees participate in technical, operations, and sales rotations, receive hands-on learning at venues alongside field leaders, attend instructor-led training at Encore’s corporate office in Chicago, and earn certifications through online courses in the Leadership, Technical, Operations, Sales, and Service academies. The position offers development opportunities, mobility, and training to support a career in operations management or sales. Candidates must be able to work at a hotel location in a major metropolitan market and be flexible to relocate. In an Operations Manager placement, the employee manages floor operations to achieve service excellence, focusing on customer service, staff leadership, performance management, and development. The role also works toward organizational goals through effective workforce and inventory cost control. In a Sales Manager placement, the employee guides customers through event experiences, identifies solutions that meet their goals, and uses available tools to maximize event and revenue capture from an assigned customer base. Placement occurs immediately after successful completion of the program. The role has physical demands including extended periods of standing and walking, lifting and carrying items, and pushing or pulling loads. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Encore offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance and participation in a 401(k) plan. Trainees receive a base salary; after placement, employees can earn base salary plus bonus incentive.
