About The Position

TruVolt Brands is seeking a National B2B Sales Manager to join its growing team. The company manufactures and sells innovative, eco-conscious, battery-powered lawn and garden equipment, as well as electric bikes, scooters, and hoverboards under brands like Snow Joe®, Sun Joe®, and Aqua Joe®. TruVolt Brands aims to disrupt traditional gas-driven markets with high-quality, affordable, and user-friendly products delivered with speed. This role is crucial for building the B2B Wholesale Sales Team to secure national retail, brick-and-mortar accounts. The ideal candidate will be a senior B2B sales manager with a strong existing relationship with Walmart.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with major US national retailers (for consumer "hard" goods).
  • Proven track record of bringing in new accounts and building business within an industry category.
  • Experience with Walmart as a primary client account is highly preferred.
  • Analytical, highly personable, persuasive, and product-savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Bringing in new business and managing large retail accounts.
  • Creating and delivering high-quality, professional presentations to potential partners.
  • Confidently speaking about the business, our products, brands, and consumer needs.
  • Proactively reaching out to gain meetings and build rapport with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Independently searching for new opportunities, learning about businesses in-depth, mapping stakeholders, and understanding their decision-making process.
  • Managing a portfolio of retail chains, ensuring strong relationships and meeting business KPIs.
  • Developing strategies and programs to grow accounts, increase store coverage, and overall supply with retailers.
  • Building reports to track performance and identify trends.
  • Creating financial projections and forecasts for internal planning and commercial proposals.
