About The Position

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for supporting and promoting sales into Fidelity’s products. This role provides critical support for the firm’s product development initiatives, client management, competitor and industry analysis to inform strategy, partnering with other business units, and growing product exposure through affiliated distribution firms. The role works closely with the National Accounts team to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements

  • Completion of a University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong Mutual Fund/ETF industry knowledge.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in sales support, relationship management, or product marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products and services including Mutual Funds, ETFs, Liquid Alternative and Real Asset products.
  • Exceptional analytical ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
  • Proven experience performing complex data analysis (i.e. sales, performance analysis, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of CFA/MBA/CAIA/other industry designations is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with External Clients & Industry Conferences Prepare, organize, and present materials for external clients and industry leaders. Assist with organizing speakers and subject matter experts to enhance Fidelity’s brand at conferences and events. Work with Compliance and colleagues throughout the organization to acquire approvals for external materials. Participating in meetings and external conferences where required.
  • Internal Resource for Sales Team and Business Partners Serve as key contact for sales and internal partners regarding products and processes. Create communications, presentations, and collateral for sales related to client changes, industry trends, and dealer platforms. Act as a point of contact for other internal departments. Attend internal meetings and events to represent National Accounts. Support other National Accounts team members as required.
  • Client Relationship Management Develop strong relationships with key contacts at distribution partner firms. Own dealer relationships where determined by the team. Increase Fidelity’s market share across dealer networks. Respond to gatekeeper inquiries and RFPs. Conduct required reporting for recommended list and gatekeeper reviews. Promote inclusion of Fidelity products on dealer platforms and recommended lists.
  • Product Management Demonstrate strong product, market, and competitive investment category expertise. Develop and articulate an informed view of future category and asset class direction. Partner with Product teams to support dealer product shortlist processes. Assist with internal approval processes for new products and solutions.
  • Industry Analysis Identify compelling product ideas aligned with Fidelity standards and customer needs. Research dealer models to identify new opportunities. Develop competitive benchmarking and positioning. Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the organization to bring products to market.
