The purpose of the National Accounts Manager is to perform day-to-day on-site management of the Division National Accounts Team to ensure departmental performance reflects customer expectations and BEK operational guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent sales experience
At least five to seven years of internal BEK sales experience; purchasing experience highly desired
At least one year managing a team
Good computer skills with the ability to use standard Microsoft Office application, including Word and Excel
Ability to learn and use internal BEK applications such as KBIT and KRIS

Responsibilities

Manage the daily responsibilities of the National Accounts team in the performance of daily tasks and responsibilities on assigned National Accounts
Develop and conduct training for National Accounts team to ensue adherence to set goals and objectives
Monitor the performance of National Accounts to ensure optimal order activity and customer satisfaction
Review accounts based on Key Performance Indicators and prepare reports
Prepare daily out-of-stock reports
Monitor daily order activity to ensure performance levels are met and maintained
Interact with customers at the division level to strengthen relationships with existing clients
Manage the set up and roll out of new accounts
Monitor the weekly aging reports and ensure National Accounts team performs the required follow-up on these items
Manage the inventory process, including new item introduction, LTO product monitoring, and disposition of dead and excess inventory
Collaborate with the division Credit Manager to mange the Credit Memo process
Work closely with the Transportation and Operations Managers to resolve transportation and other operational issues
Work with Inventory Manager to ensure resolution of inventory and quality issues
