About The Position

BSN SPORTS, a Varsity Brands Company, is the recognized leader in team athletic gear and has been for over 50 years. Our mission is to save coaches and administrators time off the field so they can focus on impacting young lives. The National Account Representative will serve as a best-in-class sales representative, capable of managing medium, large, and enterprise organizations, specifically National Accounts. This role involves managing individual sales goals for accounts ranging from Fortune 500 companies to professional sports teams and large club/travel programs. The ability to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and manage the expectations of important organizations on behalf of Lax.com/BSN SPORTS is essential.

  • A minimum of four years of management and/or sales experience.
  • A minimum of two years of industry experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned book of business through proactive relationship management and strategic account support.
  • Maintain consistent daily communication with customers, ensuring all emails and text messages are responded to within 24 hours.
  • Develop and present quarterly account plans for key customers in collaboration with management to support retention and growth goals.
  • Communicate both positive updates and challenging issues to customers professionally, transparently, and in a timely manner.
  • Partner with customers to create customized logo concepts and product designs that align with brand standards and team identity.
  • Build and manage online team stores to support customer fundraising, ordering, and product distribution needs.
  • Support accounts receivable efforts by assisting customers through billing inquiries and aging AR resolution.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and lacrosse industry events on a quarterly basis to strengthen product knowledge and industry relationships.
  • Utilize approved expense budgets strategically to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Process bulk customer orders accurately and efficiently, with a target turnaround time of 12 hours or less.
