National Account Manager - Hyperscale Data Centers

About The Position

We're looking for a National Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key clients in the data center space. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, expand business opportunities within hyperscale data centers, helping drive strategy, and strengthen partnerships across the country. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys building relationships, thinking strategically, and working at the intersection of technical solutions and sales.

Requirements

  • ~5+ years of experience in a regional or national account management role, with a strong track record in sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer (preferred)
  • Experience selling or supporting: Electrical power distribution, Engineering services, PLCs, automation, drives, or control systems
  • Ideally within the data center industry OR Background as an Electrical Engineer or Project Manager in the data center space, with: Strong communication skills, Leadership ability, Interest in transitioning into sales/account management
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working with sales metrics, KPIs, and performance tracking
  • Strategic thinker with solid analytical skills
  • Confident leader who can guide and support a team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Skilled in presentations, conflict resolution, and client management
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer success

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans with clear KPIs and measurable goals
  • Set and track performance targets for national accounts
  • Establish new business opportunities
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners
  • Meet regularly with customers and internal account teams to stay aligned
  • Ensure all accounts are well-supported and running smoothly
  • Lead and support a team of regional sales professionals
  • Act as the main point of contact for client questions, issues, and escalations
  • Introduce and promote new services and solutions to existing clients
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on account performance and opportunities
  • Take the lead on presentations, proposals, and client-facing strategy sessions
  • Stay on top of market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities
