About The Position
Ace Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join their Mission Critical Operations team. This role is crucial in pursuing and executing complex electrical construction projects, including Hyperscale Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities, Distribution Centers, and Large Commercial Projects. The estimator will collaborate with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates. This position offers the opportunity to influence major project wins across the Southeast and beyond within a fast-growing organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Experience in Mission Critical / Data Centers
- Experience in Industrial Construction
- Experience in Large Commercial Construction
- Experience in Design-Build Projects
- Experience in Fast-Track Construction Environments
- Proficiency in Accubid Anywhere or similar estimating software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail and organization
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams
- Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
- Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
- Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems
