National Account Manager, Dollar General -Confections

About The Position

You will work in partnership with customers to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both Mondelēz International and the customer. This is a remote position based in Nashville, TN. You will develop and drive broad customer relationships across all levels with a key focus on building relationships at an appropriate level within the customer. You will lead and execute the confections strategy for Dollar General, ensure the delivery and execution of JCBP (Joint Customer Business Plan), and optimize the use of resources in order to obtain more profitability in the operation of the confections category.

Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years in a customer-facing role in FMCG/CPG industry with proven selling/negotiating experience.
Understanding multiple customers across a variety of channels of trade, go-to market strategies, structure and business practices.
Negotiating and influencing skills.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools.
Previous experience in trade management and budgeting.
Strong organizational and attention to details skills.
Familiarity with sales and forecasting tools such as Apex is a plus.

Nice To Haves

HQ Selling experience a plus.
Previous experience with Dollar General or other large retail chain customer is ideal.
Successful relationship building/partnership.
Data analytics & insights: previous experience with Nielsen syndicated data,1010 data Circana/IRI or other syndicated data tools preferred.
