About The Position

Asahi Beer USA is seeking a National Account Manager for the Pacific Northwest region, with a preference for the Seattle Area. This field-based sales role focuses on growing the company's portfolio of premium beverage brands, including Asahi Super Dry and Twisted Shotz, within the off-premise retail landscape. The ideal candidate will be a "hunter" with established distributor relationships and a proven ability to drive placements, programming, and performance across Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug channels. This is a growth-oriented role focused on expanding market presence and increasing brand availability, visibility, and velocity.

Requirements

  • A track record of winning — new placements, strong sell-in, real results.
  • Deep experience in National or Regional Account Management in beer, RTD, or beverage alcohol.
  • Established buyer and distributor relationships in the California market.
  • Fluency in off-premise retail — Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug.
  • High personal accountability and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, market-facing environment — not despite it.
  • Off-premise retail account management (large and small format).
  • Buyer and distributor relationship management.
  • New distribution and placement execution.
  • Program sell-in and promotional planning.
  • U.S. three-tier distribution system knowledge.
  • Beer and/or RTD category expertise.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined account list across large and small format off-premise retail.
  • Drive new placements and program sell-in across Grocery, Mass, Convenience, and Drug.
  • Build and leverage strong buyer and distributor relationships to move the needle.
  • Be the go-to channel expert within your Sales Division.
  • Increase availability, visibility, and velocity of Asahi Super Dry, Twisted Shotz, and Zeitaku Shibori.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing and Brand teams to bring programs to life in market.
