About The Position

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a National Account Manager for their Emerging Markets team, focusing on Solar Technology. This role involves developing long-term customer partnerships and creating win/win solutions within an assigned territory. The position is responsible for developing, planning, and executing sales strategy for the Carlson Machine Controls and UAV product lines nationwide. This is an opportunity to make an impact in a fast-growing business segment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working with GPS equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with the solar industry.
  • Strong computer proficiency across relevant software and systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50–70% as required.
  • Valid work authorization and ability to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships and sell whole-goods, parts, and service as complete customer solutions to maximize customer and company profitability.
  • Develop, plan, and execute the sales strategy for the Carlson Machine Controls and UAV product lines nationwide.
  • Use company-provided systems and tools to fully document, track, and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work sites.
  • Serve as the primary contact between Carlson and RDO Equipment Co., working with Carlson on new or experimental products and training.
