As a key member of the sales department, this position will be responsible for business development/management with an existing national account. This role has a strong account presence and will work closely with buyers to meet both companies’ objectives and satisfy account needs. The National Account Manager/Key Account Manager must build sales volume through new product listings, high impact merchandising, and major advertising support. Develop and implement annual promotional calendar and execute special programs to drive sales. Analyze basic & promotional sell through, prepare account business reviews, and deliver detailed presentations built on data storytelling. Filter all pertinent account information to field reps for program ease of execution at store level. This position reports to the Director of Sales and works closely with various internal departments, such as Category Management, Customer Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance. A team player is required to resolve account issues in a proactive manner to maintain strong account service levels.
