About The Position

Requirements

  • A track record of proven success in sales and account management
  • Experience managing, meeting, and exceeding goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen for understanding and influence outcomes
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically 80% of the time by airplane or car for extended overnight trips weekly

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow executive-level, long-term relationships within assigned enterprise parent groups, including C-suite, operational leadership, and store-level decision-makers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each group’s strategic priorities, sales performance, market dynamics, and growth objectives.
  • Lead structured ROI performance conversations, connecting TrueCar performance to unit sales, close rate, lead efficiency, and revenue impact.
  • Own and exceed assigned revenue and growth targets.
  • Interpret and deliver monthly and quarterly TrueCar reporting and analytics to diagnose performance trends, optimization opportunities, and revenue expansion strategies.
  • Drive product adoption and utilization across assigned rooftops, increasing penetration within inactive or underperforming stores.
  • Identify and implement close rate improvement initiatives, including pricing strategy, radius optimization, lead handling best practices, and operational refinement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Support, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to resolve systemic issues and improve dealer outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point-of-contact for enterprise dealer groups; proactively diagnose risks and implement retention defense strategies to minimize churn.
  • Escalate material risks, expansion opportunities, and roadblocks to leadership with clear action plans and revenue impact framing.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, risk documentation, and pipeline visibility within Salesforce.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue retention, penetration, and expansion objectives across the assigned portfolio.
