About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years in Key Account Management, Industrial Distribution, or Sales Leadership in a private, public, government or military environment
  • One (1) year of experience in Project Management frameworks in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • MBA
  • Experience managing multi-national accounts (specifically US/Canada) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand 3M’s footprint within Grainger’s US and Canadian National Account organizations.
  • Lead "accelerated engagement" initiatives with the Grainger National Account organization, ensuring 3M is the preferred partner for large-scale industrial end-user contracts.
  • Design and deploy national sales programs, promotional campaigns, and logistical enhancements. You will manage the project lifecycle from ideation through field execution.
  • Act as the central nervous system between 3M’s various divisions (e.g., PSD, Abrasives, IATD) and Grainger’s National Account sales and leadership teams.
  • Utilize advanced business intelligence to identify white-space opportunities, analyze competitive threats, and adapt strategies to shifting industrial distribution trends.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
  • All employees are expected to contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
