Part Time Nanny
About The Position
A warm and welcoming family in the Richmond, VA area is seeking a dependable, active, compassionate, and patient part-time nanny to care for their child, with a second baby arriving in October. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants and toddlers, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in becoming a trusted part of the family’s routine. The current schedule will include dropping the 2 year old off at school around 9:00 AM and picking him up around 12:00 PM. The school is only about one mile from the family’s home, so a reliable vehicle is required and mileage will be reimbursed. While the 2 year old is at school, the nanny is welcome to stay at the home and assist with light household tasks, or they may leave and return when it’s time for pickup. This can be discussed further with the family. After school, responsibilities will include preparing meals and snacks, helping with nap time, engaging in active play and age-appropriate activities, and keeping screen time limited. Once the new baby arrives and Mom returns to work in January, care will expand to include infant responsibilities such as diaper changes, feeding, naps, developmental activities, and meeting milestones. Household responsibilities will include washing bottles and keeping common areas tidy. Both parents have hybrid work schedules, so one parent will typically be working from home during care. Requirements
- Experience with infants and toddlers.
- Strong communication skills.

- Must first interview with a Jovie specialist.
- Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
- Not visa eligible.
Responsibilities
- Drop off and pick up the 2-year-old from school.
