About The Position

A San Francisco family is hiring a dedicated, compassionate, experienced full-time nanny to care for their curious, determined, and clever 2-year-old child (adjusted to 21 months). The child has mild cerebral palsy affecting his right side, was born four months premature, weighs approximately 18–19 pounds, and is not yet walking. The caregiver will support the child's daily routine, developmental play, and therapy and medical appointment schedule in a smoke-free home. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with a shift of either 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; the exact preference can be discussed with the family. The family values engaging activities such as music, arts and crafts, reading, and interactive games. Care includes supporting an intensive therapy schedule, with both in-home sessions and appointments at a nearby clinic. Outdoor activities at parks, the beach, and playgrounds are encouraged, while indoor crowded spaces should be avoided for now. Cleanliness and infection control are priorities, including sanitizing playground surfaces before use. Compensation is $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates will be subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The family is an equal opportunity employer. Caregivers are hired directly by the family; Wellthy is not an agency and does not employ caregivers.
