About The Position
Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout South San Francisco. The role offers full-time or part-time work, daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth. Assignments vary according to family needs, caregiver availability, and scheduling preferences. Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though some may occasionally include older children. Caregivers support children's feeding, naps, and daily routines; encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities; communicate with parents about the child's day; and create a positive environment for children's learning and growth. Most shifts fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and typically last 6–9 hours. Monday–Friday availability is preferred. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit. Eligible full-time team members may receive PTO, paid holidays, a healthcare stipend, and retirement savings matching.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of infant childcare experience.
- Dependable and professional.
- Communicate well with parents and children.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Provide at least 2 references related to childcare work and 1 character reference.
- At least 18 years old.
- Childcare experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.
