Full-Time Nanny Position – Rosslyn Farms

East Wind Nannies•Rosslyn Farms, PA
•$30 - $35•Onsite

About The Position

East Wind Nannies is recruiting a nanny for a professional family in Rosslyn Farms, Pennsylvania. The family has a four-year-old, an 18-month-old, and a newborn due in December. The older child attends preschool four mornings a week, and the mother expects to take approximately four months of maternity leave. Both parents work full-time outside the home. The position is intended for a caregiver who can take ownership of the children’s days and provide attentive, interactive care in a low-screen household. The family uses routines, clear expectations, calm redirection, and age-appropriate opportunities for children to help with household tasks. The nanny will plan and participate in activities such as outdoor play, playground visits, museum trips, swimming, crafts, cooking, reading, and imaginative play. A family vehicle is provided, and the nanny is expected to be comfortable using it. The nanny will also help keep the children’s areas organized, notice and replenish children’s supplies, prepare and reset items within the children’s world, and let the family’s small dog out into the yard. The family travels and would appreciate a nanny willing to join them occasionally. They are seeking a long-term caregiver who can grow alongside the children. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Occasional earlier starts or later finishes may be requested with advance notice. The rate is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience. The family offers paid vacation, sick or personal days, and major holidays. Start date is ASAP, with flexibility for the right fit. Up-to-date vaccinations, including Tdap and MMR, are required; an annual flu shot is strongly preferred.
